JB TEX BD was founded by Mr. Kh. Babar Siddique back in year 2001 in Baridhara, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the company is today still running with Mr. Babar as the Managing Director and company owner.

In the early 90’s Mr. Babar realised the opportunity and need of a buying house, especially after the liberation in Bangladesh where the Ready-Made-Garments (RMG) industry started to surge at a formidable pace as the country was gaining political and social stability.

The RMG has transformed itself as the country’s highest revenue generating sector, contributing 82% of Bangladesh’s total export and the concept of a buying house was therefore needed to fulfil the industrial demand.

JB TEX BD is today consisting of 44 employees across various departments in Bangladesh & Denmark. JB TEX BD  has it's own sample house, compliance & merchandising department, and additionally owns two independent factories. Sharpe Knit factory with 1000 employees and YAGI Woven Factory with 1800 employees.

JB TEX BD has achieved a good position in the market due to the full transparency owning and managing several steps in the supply chain. The full commitment to the customers and the transparent workflows make JB TEX BD competitive, and despite the many different players on the market, JB TEX BD still manages to stand out and make a yearly turnover of average 10 million USD.
